More times than not, personal trainers that work for large corporate gyms have sales quotas to meet and minimal training expertise. Others call themselves trainers simply after taking a basic exercise course. Today's professional personal training market has become over saturated with self proclaimed professionals looking to make a quick dollar. As with anything else in life, you get what you paid for.

When choosing a personal trainer, it is a good idea to ask questions; What is his/her background in exercise? How is this person involved in the exercise/fitness industry? Are they competitively involved? What is this individuals education level? Are they certified? Is this person insured should an accident occur? Are they CPR certified?

Without a doubt, the best personal trainers are those who are certified and seriously involved competitively in the exercise, fitness, and bodybuilding industry. Such individuals have committed their lives to the exercise field and live the lifestyle 24/7.

Training Options:

  • Individual Training                                                     

Working one on one in a training facility provides the best results. This will allow us to focus specifically on your individual goals and modify your program if needed as we get closer to and/or accomplish the goals we have set. I have multiple facilities available for us to train in. 

  • Group Training

This is very similar to individual training but rather with two or three others training with you at the same time, while still pursuing your own personal goals. One of the biggest advantages to training with a group is the price. Your individual cost per session will be less when training with a group. The other big advantage is a competitive environment where you can feed off the energy of others in your group. Group training is most often a very high energy event.

  • Custom Training Programs for regular business travelers

Do you have to travel with your job? Do you feel like you can't get into shape due to living out of a hotel room? Let me work with you to develop a custom training program you can complete right there in the comfort of your own room. There are several ways to tone muscle, build muscle and/or loose weight without having to have a gym membership in several cities, limiting yourself to training in the minimal hotel facility or train your body only when your home.

  • In Home Training Programs                

Do you have a home gym but not know where to begin? Did you spend the money to create a health club alternative in your home but are not getting the results you had hoped for? I can customize a training program specific to your own personal equipment and guide you to the results you have been looking for.

  • Nutritional Counseling                         

The fact of the matter is that a proper training program is only part of the battle. Nutrition is the key to accomplishing the goals you have set for yourself. But who can you count on to help you guide you to a diet plan specifically tailored to your health goals. Part of my job as your trainer is to assist you in modifying your daily food intake to work with you in reaching your goals rather than against you.

I think the question of why we should set goals can be simply answered.

Goals let us know when we have achieved our task. Goals determine where success can be found. Goals are good for our personal inner self.
